    Toyota 3l engine

    What do you think its worth? Good for parts or reco, was using a little oil and I swapped it for a newer one, been in shed since... time to let it go

    Is that the 3L as in 2.0 litre petrol or the 3.0 litre diesel?

    3l as in 2.8 lux hiace etc you can get a brand new short block for 2.5k so using oil I wouldn't think much more than 500.

    Doh, think I was overdue for sleep. The 2Y 1.8 wasn't too bad, had a kind of 2 stroke power band, well mine did anyway.

    Stick it on trademe and you will probably get 1K for it. Just remember to say it's out of a hilux not a van as that suddenly makes it worth more.
