    Trailer brand recommendations

Hey y’all. I don’t know much about these brands but I’m in the market for a trailer for a raft. It is pretty important to me that I get one with sides like this pictured one, big flat surface above the tyres. I’ve been looking on marketplace but many are NOT in the Nelson area. I’ve seen plenty of this style in yards around the top of the south…but none for sale recently. If I do have to buy a trailer what are the reputable brands? I trust y’all so just give it to me straight.

Briford Joe, just down the road.

They can custom one for you if you want new otherwise should be able to find one second hand.

What sort of raft do you have? I'm in the market for one of those, been looking.

Im after a 13ft self bailer

I went through all this recently and got lots of advice https://www.nzhuntingandshooting.co....ay-nay-104763/
I ended up buying a Chinese made/NZ assembled trailer 7x4 galv tipper from these guys https://www.luccatrailers.nz/product...g-trailer-joy/
It's quite good but depends of what you want and how long you want it to last.
The only bits of mine that I was less than happy about were some patchy galv spots and despite been called heavy duty it only has a 700kg rating, But I regularly carry half a cube of builders mix and cement and there's no complaints from me.

I think it was worth the $2000 asking price but I got it via TradeMe $1 reserve auction for $1530
    Here's their TM profile
    https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/search?m...5&bof=583I1WKR

    EDIT
Just see that they don't ship to the SI sorry
