Not just Auckland paying for it, they're shelving highway projects all over the country to put money aside for it (and other fairytale train/cycle projects)... but they can't even say when they might happen because they haven't even been planned properly yet.
Staggering incompetence, but we're learning to expect that aren't we.
Ha, by the time they get it built there’ll be no planes flying anyway. The damage these retards are doing will take generations to make good
Wait till your rego is hooked to the vehicle emissions!! Next please?
The actual tram will never be delivered, that's not what these people do. This is just the cover for taxing the absolute arse off you and me, to then spend the loot via Shane Jones' bribery fund, keeping themselves swimming in chardonnay and virtue feelz.
I still can't understand what kind of loser actually votes for these fucking cretins.
The list is long Tommy and includes bunny lovers, tree huggers, the un gendered as well as anti vaxer’s, anti gun folk, and your common old garden variety, socialists, communists, plus a whole other bunch of left leaners from benefit bludgers to academics.
My opinion though is prejudiced and biased as I am among those that never have and never will.
Has anyone on here mentioned our Speaker bottle feeding a Gay man's baby ????
Or is that Taboo subject
Anything involving the public flaunting of anyone's baby is emotive exploitation. I would never want to "use" my children in such a way.
While so would use the tram service if it were cheaper and faster than the sky bus.
I can't help but think that they should spend the money and political capital on dealing with the nimby people and having a decent train system. Right now you have to drive as its almost always faster and cheaper.
Many moons ago when my life was in "Jaffa" land for a while tried travelling to work by train, didn't take long to get sick of my vehicle being broken into at the railway station, that was plus 40 years ago, wouldn't have improved.
But wasent it wonderful to see that fantastic yatch thing being put into the water. Made me feel proud that the mega rich have a new toy that cindy will throw a few million taxpayers money at while cancer patience pay for there own drugs, baby born on the roadside in southland ect ect. Dalton holding the government to ransom, give us more or we will take the America cup overseas. Having said that it will be interesting to see it sail/ fly /sink or whatever it does but I wish they would pay for it themselfs.
If Mr Tyford couldn't build the promised houses then how in hell will he deliver this.......................he wont just more excuses as it seems this is the only thing hes learned how to do.
They will need to build two tram lines if Air NZ idea of two airports fly.
it's just nuts, make the first one work properly and avoid having to sound proof half of West Auckland (oh well they are used to Harley's and boy racers anyway). The commute to Whenuapai from the rest of Auckland is pretty awful anyway, SH16 is awful even with the new tunnel.
picture of Putins princess in the CHCH Pus on w/e surrounded by girls at local primary school .how fuckin ironic considering the squirming her mob are doing after their sexual peccadilos have surfaced.
that wee git grant roberetson looks more like himmler every day with as piggy wee eyes sycophantically gloating as he hovers next to her.
i used to live out in kumeu, rode the train to auckland every day to go to school. trains were a pigsty even to a 12 year old me. my dad knew a train driver and one day i got to sit in the front. the waitakere tunnel was a crumbling mess and the tracks when viewed from the drivers position were as straight as a drag queen.
never been on a train since i left school but of course now its "clean and green".
Probably into push bike lanes.
