XR200, early 2000s
Low gearing. Low seat. Slow as a wet week. Reliable, sort of like the 1600cc corolla of the motorbike world

bit heavy but would sound good ae
Yes. That era of XR's were really bulletproof. Once you geared them down they would go anywhere with a bit of a load on them. The open chamber forks made them quite plush.
But that did mean you could bottom them out with a deer over the handlebars:o
2004 was the year the 'proper' XR's stopped being made. And by the 2000's Honda had stopped putting grease nipples on the XR's moving parts (suspension). No doubt because they were lasting too long

The pre 2004 era XR's ran 1.8L of engine oil. Post 2004 only 850 mls, in the stupid quest bike manufacturers have to show the bike was lighter
I stripped mine down and put grease nipples on all the back suspension, diddnt take too long and easy to push the water out with the grease gun if need be. I pull the grease nipples apart and just use the screw in nib for a cleaner look and less to snag on. Then grease with a needle nose.

UBCO e-bikes look like a great option for hunting...they have been out of business for a while but seem to be back trading: https://ubco.co.nz/
UBCO are not designed for true off road work. Farmland, both flat and steep yip OK. But not over gnarly tussocks, deep streams, large rockbeds, anything that requires decent suspension to negotiate.
Also, if UBCO were a fantastic product for all off road work, they would not have gone bust. They really only fit a niche market. They only back up and running 'cause some deep pocketed millionaires like the greenwashing sound of them.
Yamaha AG200. Low and built like a brick shit house. Cheap as well.
