Thread: Wireing a spotlight?

If you want to be able to remove it, you could get a higher amped male and female fitting (Made by Hella) that is used for car fridges.
Wire the female plug and fuse to the battery and either mount or cut a hole for the plug.
Then replace the male plug on the spotlight with the car fridge plug. Cigarette lighter plugs are only rated to max 10amp.
