Nice work,I note a large cow bell for your EB . I have used the bepper collar on my dog but it freaks him out and makes him heel when i want him to hunt
Tweed or not to Tweed that is the question

France... I forget how much I paid for it (2006). It has a deep resonance perfect for dismal overcast days, as you would expect for the likes of woodcock hunting.

This is one of the standard dog bells used in France. That is really interesting about your dog and the beeper collar...is there anyway you can change the frequency...? Maybe the pitch is causing him discomfort?

The best trick is to cover the beeper with a bit of duct tape to make it quieter until they get used to it

Hawk scream...jingas...I guess the idea is to have the birds hear the hawk call and go to ground.

    Depends on the model.

I can adjust the volume on mine and I have 2 collars with different tones. There are other models with selectable tone.

My old collars had the hawk scream but I'm not sure of the effect. With the bobwhites I think it kept them on the ground but I'm not sure on pheasants. Interestingly I've never had the beeper spook any birds.

I use mine on remote just to locate when the dogs get out of sight. I don't leave them turned on. I've used them for a long time and I've never had a dog that had a problem with them once they got used to them.

The first time Quick had a bell on he came into heel and stayed there for a while until he got used to it.

EB's could you explain the use for the bell?
She loves the free fresh wind in her hair; Life without care. She's broke but it's oke; that's why the lady is a tramp.
