I am going to use a cheap scope with a mill dot -zero at 100 and check dot to distance and not wind the turrets
Tweed or not to Tweed that is the question

Have you tried it out yet El B? 1Mil = something like 4MOA, so if your scope has 5x MIL dots below center that would be 20MOA. My subsonic 22LR takes 28.5MOA to be bang on at 200m from a 50m zero...

Well, here is a trick from the French for you: zero your scope at a 100m or 120m, use the lower dots to shoot up to 200 and beyond, and the upper dots for shorter distances ;-)

yep, i expect that is what El B will do... or use higher velocity ammunition. Personally i wouldn't zero the rifle for a longer distance because it would require me to remember a whole lot of new hold unders for shorter targets that may be set under a tighter time limit. I would expect in a 22LR shoot to have mostly shorter targets and therefore would set up my rifle to best suit the majortiy of the targets rather than the occasional longer target.
