    Taihape LR Steel shoot

    since we got fogged out and only got the precision done we are going to do the steel on the 25th of June which is a Sunday.
    come join us for a good day of shooting and a barbie.
    steel starting at 400 out to 890 with 1135 the tie breaker.

    @Dermastor I am not involved in this event but pretty sure the it involves targets at 400, 450, 500, 650, and 890 plus as Andy says the tie breaker at 1135. Each competitor get three shots at the first target, if they hit it at least once they then get three shots at the next target i.e. you have to hit a target to be able to carry on to the next one. Miss a target with your three shots and you are out.

    They probably have a couple of extra targets in there now as well.

    It could be very frustrating to miss the three first shots on the thirst target and having to drive back all the way to hamilton!:-)

    I'm bloody keen, and I don't think I've been to Taihape since I left Palmy North around 1999-2000.
