If you didnt attend - there were some great bargains , an awful lot of pass-ins , some expensive things - like the double rifles - and some stuff that was pretty well priced.
The glory days of bolt action battle rifles appears to be gone , and shit hand guns you cant give away.
Was a great day out though , well done Taranaki Branch , NZAAHFA

I think thats the situation with most stuff on offer. Limited buyers so limited market

There are some big collections out there and collectors who are passing away. I do wonder if Boer-WW1-2 rifles will remain as popular though as a lot of the new generation were not brought up on the diet of war movies and video games that we were.
Hogans Heros, the Black Sheep squadron were on TV, there were Sunday Matinee's with old war flicks. Dads first computer was an Amiga500 and the first game I played was Dogs of War. Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers are old now too.

"That is ever the way of the Highlander. He alters like a clear pool to every mood of the sky, so that the shallow observer knows not how deep the waters are."
Did anyone attend the AGM? Was there a change in President?
was there a problem with the incumbant?

Funniest AGM I've ever sat thru...can you spell "politics".? As an outsider it was good spectator sport and reminded me why I now leave office-holding and AGMs to the young and enthusiastic lol.
I know a lot but it seems less every day...
I don’t know it’s just that an email was received from the national
Secretary with attached emails about the election suggesting skullduggery with the voting system but no minutes so nobody knows who was actually elected or what was going on. Sounds like a shambles and not a good look for the organisation.
Based on the emails I’m not surprised the Wellington buys packed their bags and set up a seperate organisation.
