    22 Rifle Torch

    Hi Everyone

From looking through the forum I can see this subject has been thrashed already but before I go and spend my money can someone please review what I'm considering doing here and confirm for me that I'm on the right track? I live on a lifestyle block and use my TOZ 22 with a Hubertus 4x20 scope for pest control (possums and rabbits). It's mainly night shooting (certainly for the possums anyway), and I need to up my game from using my headlamp to light up the target.

I am thinking of getting one of these:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Way-Use-2...item5b2801a869

and using that to mount one of these:

    https://www.lightmalls.com/new-ultra...0-not-included

By my calculation I'll come out at just under $50 all up which seems like a good deal (if that combo will be ok for my needs). Actually it will be more like $55 as I will need to get a battery too - I assume I should get that from Lightmalls at the same time as I get the torch?

    Thanks for any advice.

Sorry dont have any experience with those items but if you can stretch the budget a bit have a look at the following thread.

Pick up a Maxtoch M1 Archer. Fantastic little light. Perfect for a scope mounted light. Run one between my .22 and .17hmr.

Pop along to introductions and make yourself known to the forum mate. It’s always good to know who we’re talking to!

And to answer your Q. Maxtoch. Maxtoch, Machtoch, Maxtoch, Maxtoch

There is no other, there is no comparison, there is no competition even close

Hi, welcome to the forum. Have a look at maxtoch as said before. Also you might want to think about getting a scope with a bigger front end. It'll let more light in and give you a better picture. Try for at least 4x32 or 4x40.

Spring some $$$ on a Maxtoch, you won't regret it. They are awesome torches.

The maxtochs are also really handy on lifestyle bocks for ; looking for pets / animals, looking for prowlers, wandering around looking at stuff,

I got a maxtoch years ago, never looked back. Its brilliant.....
