    So can this Halo Peak gas burner take the upside down canisters?

    Danger.
    Check the manual, some have the loop to bring the tank pressure up not for liquid fuel.
    Edit, I just read your latest post. The anti flare should make it ok to invert the tank.
    Remember the 7 “P”s; Pryor Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance.
