Yes - tested the 2X against a big handheld spottie and it was alot better.

Even though its half the weight and a fraction the size of the biggest 210mm and 240mm HID Lightforce spotties, its up there with the best of them with its 1200 meter max range (down to 1 lumen on target). All with just a 68mm torch head and 400gm weight including batts. And the XPro is more - 1400 meters max. We were after extreme performance - but no more wires, big batts etc - everything in a lightweight handheld or scope light. We've experimented with light setups out to 2300 meters but rejected them. Its all about beam balance.

Another maxtoch design on the drawing board ... it will surpass the biggest Lightforce 240mm HID in range, but is very small and will weigh little more than a 2X. And it can be run from truck or on batts... We'll see
