right ho...first off let me state I have NO vested interest in these lights...pain my hard earned $$$$ same as the rest of you blokes.
got the wee archer and charger and batteries... yip pretty impressive. stuck my older /lesser batteries in it out of the surefire to try it out
yip pretty darn good.....the batteries,not so much
so charged up the PROPER ONES and have given it another go
tail switch is great,easy to select what strenght beam you want and it does have 3..not 2 as I first thought.
low is good for doing normal walkies/tie dog up stuff
medium is bright.....really bright
high is blow ya socks off good....bright enough to spotlight bunnies from vechile bright,better than headlights bright

compared my old ultrfire CREE its about the same as medium on ARCHER but beam nowhere near as handy...its either flood or big square,
my P7 lenser is very similar to medium..slightly wider centre spot with slightly less range
put archer on full and no comparison at all...it quite simply EATS the others
poor wee bunny at 30ish yards was dazzled completely as was hare at 50ish last night

so very nice product and so far so good.
