    Anorak

    Hey guys,
My Swazi thar anorak is pretty worn out and no longer keeps me dry despite various waterproofing treatments.
So I'm looking for something to replace it with that isn't made or sold by a turncoat.
I like the anorak style rather than a full length zip.
    Any suggestions?

Have a look at the 'Game Gear' 'Blast Tusker' $249. The GG products are excellent and last. Another option would be to buy a GG 'Carry Cape' and get a couple of flaps sewn on to close in the front when required and just tied back when not needed, like when packing out a pig or carrying a set of hind quarters.

I have a hydrophobia and I like it a lot. I was out in some horizontal weather a few weeks back in a stoney creek glaisnock and it was actually very good also. Has that silent exterior fabric but it’s quite short and didn’t pick up as much water as I thought it would.

When I say short I mean the pile of the fabric not the length of the coat. It’s a good length.
