    Another Pack Recommendation

Sorry if this has been beaten to death before...its a bit like what caliber should I get lol

    Anywho....

Looking at a larger pack for bigger missions and more meat capacity.
At the moment comparing the Hunters Element Summit 85L and Bushbuck 85L +5L Destroyer pack and frame.

Anyone used either of these packs?

Just buy a K2 and have a pack that will carry anything and will never fall to bit and will last your entire lifetime. Or buy the crap you are looking at.

    Thanks for that.
But those k2 packs are out of my budget and the others I am comparing are.
I haven't had any issues with the other gear I have from both the companies.

my K2 got a solid work out today...my tired old body sure knew there was a load on board,I dont leave much venison on the hill.....2nd hand K2hunter packs do come up...257 W had one for sale a while back, not sure if it sold... took me 20 years to have spare funds and pack at right price come up....and have seen 4-5 of them since.
wait and get one,you will not regret it,there may be more comfortable packs, there are lighter packs..but these things WONT let you down.

I bought one of those exact same packs off TM last year for five bucks. It was dirty and had frayed / worn straps that I taped up. I bought it for the harness to use on my meat packing frame. Very well made and was a shame to cut it up even at five bucks. Anyway I can vouch for how well the harness can carry weight. I have had up to 80kg on it. At $75 bucks that pack will do the job and for a long time - it is made of a material that can be washed clean and not rot. Heavy but very strong. Actually I carried a whole deer on it last Sunday night and thought at the time how comfortable the Macpac harness is

Bush buck is utter shit and wouldn't trust hunters element one. If you are going to buy a pack buy a 2nd hand macpac or a another pack from a proper brand.

I continue to use my Macpac 75 litre pack as main hauler. Those K2 packs are strong alright but a few pilots don't like those external frame packs inside their machines - for obvious reasons. I use a Markhor 45 litre and a Hunters Element 45 litre for overnight or day hunts. Quite a choice out there nowadays.

Not an issue with the alpine hunter model with internal frame.
