Anything comparable to Kuiu Attack pants?

I have a pair of Kuiu Attack pants. They are bloody good.
Hard-wearing, a bit of stretch in the fabric.
They are starting to show a bit of wear so just wondering if there are any locally available options.

Do you know what they are called? Do they wear well? Any reason why you might not be going back to macpac?

Dont remember what they are called, they have changed a few times over the years (pockets on different sides and places which gets annoying when you go to grab your phone and it isn't there) similar stretchy fabric. Seem to hold up ok, keys do put holes in the pocket lining and they don't like hot objects and tend to melt (funny that) Macpac are rather "anti-hunting" but you have to shop somewhere

    Ok, 2 recommendations.

Firstlite Corrugate Guide Pants - https://shop.pointssouth.co.nz/colle...ate-guide-pant

I highly recommend these, I have 2 pairs. Very hard wearing, comfortable and breathable.

Another brand is Earth Sea Sky, Taslan Pants - https://www.earthseasky.co.nz/mens/pants.html

These are lighter weight full nylon, very tough and dry incredibly fast. Wear stand alone as a summer piece or layer with thermals for winter.

I do a lot of hunting all over the country and both of these pairs have served me very well. You will love either pair.

Would not go with Macmac, I have personally tested a couple of their pants and already got holes ripped in them. I just wear them around the house now.

Anyone ever seen pants that are waterproof below the knee? Always thought that they would be good for early morning walks through long wet grass....could do away with the gaiters too if the pants had some elastic or velcro to sinch up around the ankles.

These are water repellent. I have the shorts and they're good.
