BAG DUMP - whats in your pack

I'm always interested to see what other hunters etc are taking on hunts, days hunts, back country missions etc.

just found this on the tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wr_QcASb1Z0, always a good way to pass 10mins while having a coffee and zone out from the kids.

any other gear freaks out there find any other interesting videos?
Went to buy some camouflage trousers the other day but I couldn't find any.

All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

Seen josh James one, got my gear most sorted now but will look at treking poles as I'm vacating the 30's next year and they might help save my knees walking off the main range.

Gritty bowmen do good vids, amazing how they talk for over an hour on hunting, Aron synder gear is on this one.

I also bought the nzhunter mag which listed their expedition gear

Anyone use Aqua tabs, 2 part bottle ones? ( other than havelock nth residents)

Haven't used the 2 part ones, but the normal tabs shred my stomach after a while. Don't think they are great for your gut flora. Unless the water look grotty I just go au natural.

The two part aqua tabs use iodine and something that claims to neutralize it. Iodine is a biologically active substance so you don't want to be drinking too much of it.

Kinda the same thing with the tabs, if it kills bacteria in your water, it will kill them in your gut. Gut flora is pretty important
