Crocs! refused to for years but got a pair this year and I have to admit, they great for out around the tent, sweet as for river crossings on day 1 when I don't want wet boots and pretty bloody good on the yak fishing too!

Big Agnes Rapid XL sleeping mat. I've tried a few mats and I have never slept so well on the hill. The little extra weight is worth it.
Forgot about the scope I bought. Vixen V-1 4-16x44 Side Focus BDC. Have used it a few more times and it does everything I want it to do.

+1 for the JB inner soles. Bought them just prior to heading off to Stewart Island to go into my Salomons but no time for testing. They copped a lot of punishment but in every way brilliant. Best $28 I’ve spent in a long time.
Another bit of kit I picked up in Oz earlier this year, that came highly recommended on the forum, was a Sea to Summit pillow. Once you get the inflation just right, it was a revelation. So small packed down and a massive comfort improvement whether you sleep on your side or back.
