    Best overtrousers

Looking for a pair of warmish and waterproof over trousers. So far the Stoney Creek Hydrotough are looking good.

    Any other suggestions?

I took a gamble on a pair of macpac resolution over trousers online, after being happy with the coat. Ill let you know how they are, they obviously dont have a silent outer fabric.

I got a pair of SC over trous. Very impressed.
Pack down to next to nothing. Waterproof. Good zips that go 3/4 way up leg to make it easy to put on without taking boots off.

Stoney creek are great and tough wearing , ridgeline were way cheaper and not very waterproof.

I have the hydro tough and hunters element xtr . SC are tougher. Prefer xtr for comfort. Full zips and suspenders to stop them riding down while carrying the pack .

Have bought the hydro tough. I reckon hunters element's quality/durability is terrible they won't get any money from me.

Cheers for the first hand experience tho
