Another vote for Twin Needle, I found it has space in it for my Bushnell Prime 10x42s with some light merino gloves, a Muesli bar or 2 and my phone.
I run a PLB pouch on the side with my PLB, a vacuum packed survival bag and a lighter.
The harness works for me, even with a backpack on.
I used to run the Hunters Element bino setup and didn't like the harness, the elastic is waaaay too stretchy and I found I got hung up a lot in thick scrub
I like my bushbuck because it is big - with 2 side range finder pouches i can carry all sorts up front as well as my binos.
Have the Bushbuck, very happy with it. Yes its big, does not seem to be a problem for me.
it can fit a lot of stuff and comes with a rain cover.
Probably not the lightest on the market though
I got the Badlands bino case and it's very nice, it keeps the dust and rain out, far better than my old Hunters Element one.
I have a Twin Needle.
Must be an earlier model as it doesn't have a drain hole, which it needs in wet weather.
The main thing I don't like about it is the magnets snap shut with quite a "clack". Enough to alert animals if in close.
And one of the magnets has come unstuck and shifted so it sticks to one of the others.
Other than that its good. Fits Zeiss 10x40, phone, Mercator, small stone, lense cloths etc.
I’ve got the V2 Twin Needle one & very happy. Fits my 10x42s perfectly nicely, and I slot my phone into the internal sleeve. The little slip pouch on the back I keep a couple of lens wipes. I run a PLB pouch on the left side and right hand side I clip radio. I often pop a small utility pouch on the front which houses a basic survival kit/first aid, Mercator and some lollies.
Like all my TN gear the build quality is excellent, and I like the versatility to set it up however I see fit, as well as chop and change pouches around between my harness, TN pack or TN hunters belt depending on my needs for any given trip.
Keep it simple mate, bino case for binos and a backpack for the burritos. I'm no fan of carrying a front pack with all the shit from the backpack up front, binos and a simple wind indicator goes good.
Likewise, can't stand crap in front of my chest whilst working through the bush/hills. I want to see where my feet are being placed whilst walking/climbing/stalking at a glance. Also find they get in the way of holding my rifle, swapping between hands etc...Quote:

Have a think about what you need to carry in addition to binos. Many of the American designs have additional pockets for Range Finders, Wind Checkers etc. I had the Badlands bino holders, but were really heavy and a bit unbreatheable on the chest. Gone for the FHF Bino Pro harness a few years back, like 265grams. It's a light, simple design. Didn't want a garage sale going on. I actually think carrying a bit of weight on the chest is not a bad thing to help balance out a bit of weight in the bag on the back.
If you have a pair of binos with an inbuilt range finder, you want to make sure that they actually fit before ordering. The Swaro ELs with range finders for example are quite bulky.
