I've got a macpac cocoon ,had it for years . The theory was to hunt to dark ,then Kip up . Worked well enough , but you got Fucken hammered by the frosts if on the tops . I might sound soft , but I prefer a wee tent now ,gives you just a bit more between a - 15 degree frost and me . Didn't leak and didn't sweet . I prefer to use them below the bush line . Just my two cents
Can relate to that. Something that gives an air space is definitely nicer in the cold weather
