    Blacklanz vs Javlin

It’s my 50th coming up and Mrs C could buy me a better bipod...

    What’s better, the https://backlanz.co.nz/products/backlanz-detachable-bipod-carbon or the https://www.stagersport.co.nz/products/javelin-mk2-long-bipod?_pos=4&_sid=92d2184da&_ss=r

Amazingly the product from Stager sports is cheaper!

Haven't had experience with the backlanz. But I own two javelins. Love them. Easy to use etc

Got the Javelin Pro Hunt (newer version) but won't be buying again as we (UK market) basically got screwed over by them in favour of the US one.

Imagine being told that a local vendor would rather export a product at a lower price than sell direct to domestic customers... oh wait, happens all the time

@WildBrad had the Javelin and now has the Backlanz. Feedback from him so far is he prefers the Backlanz. They are so ridiculously light that I think being able to keep it attached and folded up for quick deployment if needed is worthwhile.

    Cheers.

    They’re bloody expensive though.

Got the javelin, not the most rock solid as the gap between the legs isn't wide. Have a 50th coming up too and if the budget can afford it that Backlanz looks bloody good.

I should have added that I’m thinking carbon version of the Blacklanz.

Pulled the trigger on a backlanz last week. No regrets at all. Weight savings over a Harris definitely makes it worth it for me. Very quick to attach when needed.

Impressed with how well designed and made it is. Really steady when you load forward into it. Buy once cry once.. Well not quite I’ll be buying more attachment plates for other rifles

What makes it better than the Javelin and worth $650?

All I can see is canting legs? Or am I missing something?
