I had both and ended up selling the javelin.
For me having the fold up legs was the winner
The backlanz is lighter and better movement.
If your used to a Harris buy the backlanz
And it’s Nz made

If you want light - Neopod bipod, carbon fibre stuff. Price is up there though - lighter than Backlanz but each has its pros & cons.

I run a javelin, epoxied flush adaptors in to my stocks easy as no sticky outy bits on fore stock

The neopod is not really carbon fibre, it’s a cast plastic material. Pretty flimsy and fragile.

I’ve had my backlanz for sometime now and have just brought a rifle with a javelin bipod. Compared to the backlanz it’s pretty limited on adjustment just height some pan and tilt. I can’t see myself using it the backlanz beats it hands down and its kiwi made

Had the neopod. Agree plastic and flimsy. Javelin is good but keen to try the kiwi made one now.
