    Bluetooth speaker

Anybody use one? Wanting to get one one for car camping trips so going portable Bluetooth but wanting something with a bit of volume so I can use it in the shed and hopefully it will throw the sounds far enough...

Braven seems to be a popular brand doing a bit of line shopping.... 22hr battery life is more than I would need though

There are about 50 on every beach around Auckland every summers day, all playing shit music.

even the cheapies go ok. Don't know about 22 hours out of those ones though.4-6 depending on volume etc
This one for gun type coolness but way too dear for me

    Or build your own

Doing it this way you have an excuse to buy some more ammo too.

I have a Sony one and it’s great. Nothing to compare against but no complaints here.

haha no worries. as much as I'd like to do that I just cant be fecked either at present. Yup those UE booms are good.
Something to think about for the garage, I got one in OZ not long before the move over. Its a tower speaker, mains powered. not quite a meter tall and a just over 100mm square.
Radio, output to keep the phone charged, aux cable and Bluetooth and a slot/possie for the phone. Think I got it for 50-60 bucks on special and wouldn't have paid more than that.
Definitely loud enough for the garage.
Then you can leave it there and keep the smaller jobbie for camping.

I bought a JBL Flip 4 recently. Can't compare it to anything else but the sound and quality are very good. It's meant to be waterproof too (submersible even!). Battery life is great (specs state 12h and I'm sure I've approached that).

So now everyone and their dog has a highly portable music box that puts out a decent amount of volume.
Probably about time I banned music.
