Buying stuff from overseas with Transferwise

I am saving heaps of money with this so thought I would pass it on. Transferwise is a UK company that specialises in lower cost FX transfers. You create an account and ask them to send you a mastercard debit card (no fees for all of this).

You then put NZD into your account and spend it online with the mastercard debit card. When comparing the rate I get to the Amazon, Paypal and bank rate I save about 4%.

For example, I brought something off Amazon that was $162.21 USD.
Amazon wanted to charge me $262.53NZD
I changed the currency to USD and let Transferwise do the conversion and it came to $255.19NZD

$262.53 - $255.19 = $7.34NZD that I get to keep and spend on something else.
