Hey. Im planning to spend a few days in the tent this coming Spring/Summer. Always finding that a good nights sleep makes for a far more enjoyable trip. I’ve typically stuffed my puffer into a meat bag (pillow case) to make a makeshift pillow and it’s not too bad but i’m wondering if anyone has a better sleep experience using the packable type pillows?
Any reccomendations?
I have been using a Nemo Fillo Elite luxury inflatable pillow for a few years and really rate it.
It packs down tiny, but is a big step up comfort wise from a simple kathmandu bladder type.
Another option which the family use for truck camping is the Zempire Chill Pill camping pillow. Quite a lot cheaper than the Nemo (needed to be if im buying 4 of them!) and very similar in comfort. doesn't pack down quite as small, but still pretty good.
If I want additional cushioning I just wrap a jersey or jacket around them.

It’s great- I inflate it completely and then just let out a bit of air til it’s the right level of squishy. Kmart also do a cheaper style inflatable pillow for about $4. Hunted with a mate who used the bladder from his wife's wine cask as a pillow, he slept well.
Don't buy cheap, I had a couple of cheapies, and they've punctured after a couple of trips. I've currently got a Big Agnes that's lasted a couple of years and it's been great, it tucks into the hood on my sleeping bag, and doesn't move, stays there all night. It is one of the bladder designs.
I have an aliexpress bladder one works just fine but is a tad small.

+1 for the Sea to Summit. Trick is not to over inflated them. Super cumfy.
