Thread: Cheap Meindl mountain boots.

Just a heads up, I see Army and Outdoors (formerly kiwidisposals) have a stock of cheap gore-tex Meindl Mountain boots ex. German Army. Looks like only size 7.5-10UK, but might be what some of you were after? Priced at $169

I got a pair of these boots from kiwi disposals some six years ago and they are still pretty mint condition now.

Got some a couple of weeks before there old Chch building got written off. There was a mix of Haix, Lowa and Meindl. Great boots.

I can get all these "used" Military boots (Haix - Lowa - Meindl) out of Ukraine too - but just don't feel comfortable about the possibility they been used in a War we do not agree too or understand
Not to mention they could well of come off a military "KIA"

Any idea if these are any good for wide feet?

There are plenty of old rifles kicking around being used that are of a similar sort or heritage really. Mauser, Lee-Enfield, etc.

I got a pair, and the width seems pretty good. I normally get shoes and boots in EE width.

Still feel a boot is a tad closer to the "sole" no pun intended
