    Delivery issues USPS from USA

Ordered a few items from the USA recently and all have used USPS Priority international ... a month later ... still not arrived. Tracking has 2 bouncing around San Francisco.

    Anyone else had any issues?

Got a new press just left the supplier today. Last year around May I ordered stuff from the same outfit. Took 6 months to arrive here, all due to Covid and NZ being a backwater. I was just working out how to lodge a claim and the package arrived.

Having said that I ordered stuff from a Hong Kong company about the same time and it arrived in 4 days.

USPS service is always a potential drama even aside from Covid.

My parcel last year, IIRC got from the supplier in Indiana to Chicago real quick, which gave me false hope.
It then went to LA where it sat for some time. Then went to Hawaii, then back to LA were it sat for weeks.
Then it appeared in Sydney but was gone next day to New Caledonia where it sat for over a month.
At that point I started to investigate a lost parcel claim..

No excuse - but it is WELL used one

But you are mostly right Re America especially
Not the "normal" system breaking down - but the administrative authorities using it to hamstring anything and everything productive

One week short of 5 months for me, last tracking update shows my Brownells shipment still in Chicago...

I thought it was only my mail that bounces around the States. Last thing I ordered had a long long layover in florida for some reason.

Totally random. Some packages within a week or two. Some 3 months.

I bought something from the States a while ago. It got to Japan and sat there for around 2 months. Took some 3 months to get here...

A US mate sent me something "airmail" about 4 months ago and it took at least 10 weeks to get here. US freight is now appalling, both the cost and delivery times.
