Thread: DIY rifle field cover

Got bored today on baby duties so whipped out the old lady’s sewing machine and made a field cover for my rifle. $20 of materials from Spotlight. Used waterproof oxford nylon on the outside and soft Cotten on the inside. Put in a zip to do it up.
Might use it for when my rifle is stepped to my pack on the walk in or at camp to keep the rifle protected. Anyone else made one of these, any tips for V2.0?

My tip is you will never get to make a V2 if someone who know's best sees the "old ladys" statement.
