I'm a Carpenter, looking at elec ear pro for work and shooting/range. Don't need bluetooth or radio or phone calls.
I see Howard Leight are pretty cheap-$140 ish
Who recommends which?
Thanks.

Only thrown those Howard ones on deaf old man. He could hear me whispering after that. Rekons was unreal but if wearing for long time gave him headache.
Got Walker's Razor Comm BT with aftermarket gel caps( can't recall brand sorry) and can't fault them but I only use them on the range
Howard Leights do the trick mate. I've had mine a good few years now and the only issue has been batteries corroding when being left on the shelf too long between drinks.
Howard’s work gone for range but if using them for work I’d shop around - my Howard’s get pretty uncomfortable after more than an hour or two.
Get grade 5 bro. These are the most comfortable. You don’t need really low profile for a bit of range shooting. These are still pretty good though. Come check mine out if you want.

Hey mate,
Ex carpenter here and now is sales.
Cant go wrong with 3M for any PPE
Look into the 3m peltor. It looks like someone’s already linked one - that’s the basic models - they have them with Bluetooth as well which is good for taking phone calls and listening to music while on the tools.
