What does everyone use to eliminate moisture in their safes?

I had a small wardrobe heater in 1 for a while when I lived in damp place. Certainly helped.
Eezox on all the metal work also was very good protection

Make the safe either the same temperature, or warmer than it’s surroundings.
Incandescent light bulbs are good.

Can’t beat a light bulb for simplicity. Start with very low wattage as you would be surprised how much heat they produce. All said above.
If you want to get complicated get a thermostat to stop it getting too warm.

I found light bulbs kept blowing, now use a 17W damp chaser from Bunnings works a treat.

Goldenrod heater in the gunsafe. LED bulb in the milling machine cabinet to achieve the same thing cheaper. An LED bulb gives you a much longer lifespan and a suitably low wattage compared to most incandescent bulbs; check the wattage on commercially available gunsafe heaters and you'll find it's very low. Provided the bulb is within a closed space like a cabinet, all the energy pushed into the bulb is converted to heat within that space. Just some of it goes electricity-->light-->heating of illuminated surfaces rather than directly electricity-->heat.

If i did run a bulb in the gunsafe I'd probably want to work out a way of shielding the guns from direct light while not overheating the bulb. I'd be concerned about possible fading etc. of wood stocks if exposed to bright light 24/7/365. Perhaps not an issue given it's not sunlight, but not something I'd want to personally risk without looking into it first.

That's what I use. Seems to do the job pretty good. I only turn it on during Winter.
After the first Winter with it, my mate put the shits up me when said he hoped I didn't have any split stocks from drying out too much. None seen but maybe something to watch out for ?

A dehumidifier in the gunroom, 3 nights a week over winter.
