    Gaiter sizings

Just wondering what the sizings are based on I know with things like chainsaw chaps the sizings are based on the length of your legs. But what are gaiter sizings based on as I would like to get my self a set for hunting in the bush but buggered if I know what size I would be if I were to buy online which is what I would probably end up doing due to the hours I work and not having time to actually go into a shop to try on before buying.

I got stoney longs, size l. Tried m but too tight around the calf. Im only a short ass. I'm sure most brands have a few sizes. Got the stoney short ones too, thing they may be one size fits all. Neckshot would know the ins and outs. What brand you looking at?

Whatever I can afford bro as long as they are not those sweat inducing neoprene things. Have been considering some chanodug branded goretex ones I saw on aliexpress for around $35US and free shipping but not sure how quiet goretex would be in the bush and would prefer to buy local anyway.

If you want low cost you could try military surplus stores? I got mine from one in Auckland for like $15 or something, I had to shorten the wire and they're not anything flash but they do the trick.

I'm on my 3rd pair of Stoney creek ones... XL way too big... M too small.. L just right !
I replaced the strings with Macpac wires and they are now 5 yrs old... Still mint.. Really rate them
They have an ankle elastic.. As I wear high boots and between the ankle and top elastic, I can cross a river knee deep and get no more than a spoon full water in my boots.
