    Garmin 66i charging?

    Hi all,
    How does everyone charge their Garmin 66i in the mountains?
    solar charger, battery bank etc?

    battery bank all the way far more compact than solar, just buy a reputable one.
    awhile back i was asked to check out a pack that was going to be given out to customers as an xmas gift. 2 out of the 4 batteries inside were fakes (full of sand for weight reasons) the other 2 batteries that were labelled as 6000mAH (impossible for battery type) were less than 2000mAH
