Whatever you choose you want them to dry quickly after getting wet or they will chill you down. Leather would ring warning bells for me but can’t see the picture in the add.
You’re onto it, I use those nomex gloves for work and the leather palms are a pain if they get wet.
The leather takes quite a while to dry out again and ends up stiff and hard, they take a while to soften up again.
