Thread: Going to need a new ammo pouch?

And heaven help you if you ever want to fly AirNZ - cos the Ammo “must be packed in branded packaging “ !?!?
Just been thru this with on flight and they thru out all my 284 Ammo (with out telling me) cos it was packed in a soft case Ammo pouch. Only found out after being dropped in by Choppa & go to grab the ammo...... fuckers!!

Where did you fly out of as it was probably aviation security who did it when they X rayed your bag, my mate got a nasty note left in his for bic lighters that they took out. Some of those Avsec folk are absolute clowns.

Flight was Auckland to Q’town. When I quizzed the Air NZ people at Q’town for the return flight they didn’t have a farkin clue - just kept reading the phrase “must be in branded packaging” and when I pointed out that this was impossible for 284 and it was hand loaded ammo they said they had no idea but go talk to the guy at firearm check in. He was equally clueless

So they took his lighters from his luggage yet you can walk right through security, pop your lighter in the plastic tray, get it back and put it in your pocket and board a plane with it no worries... Must have been a slow day

No that’s the current rules, none in checked in luggage & your allowed one in your pocket.

Almost - I found they had crammed 3 rounds into a half packet of 308 ammo I’d packed for my son.
So dropped on the tops with 3 bush load rounds for the week. Fark me
