they seem to make Boker knives all over the place, have seen Asian ones, Austrian ones, German ones, and Argentine ones

Boker plus are very well made. I've had a couple.
chris reeve sebenza best folder i have owned
It's a ratchet lock so it pulls back in four stages, it doesn't "lock" back but it's rock solid, takes a bit of a push to get it to close the first bit but it's not spring loaded so it can't snap shut on your fingers, put a new edge on it today and its bloody dangerous!
Bought from that EZDirect bloke that sells boots n gear up north somewhere, good service :)
How has this knife been treating you? Im now in the market for a new one my Spyderco one fell to bits in my hand

Here are my knives. Just got my 4th Bill Nikl last week (1 was given as a gift to my bro in law returning to Canada). I love the Japan made spyderco vg10 and the Al Mar limited edition folder. I really like that one you got Ryan from ezdirect so will look that up.

Just saw your post sorry, yeap I really like it, have used it quite a bit lately. I havnt been out hunting for a while due to work so havnt butchered an animal as such with it but I have actually done a couple of autopsies on cows and it has no problems. I carry it everyday and have used it for all sorts of tasks, it holds a really good edge and after initial sharpening on a lanksy I have only had to give it a strop every now and then.
im curently on my third gerber gator, thats been my folding knife of choice for over half my life. not an informed choice mind you- more of a case of replacing with the same.
I keep thimking of buying something bling after looking at these threads
I just ordered that one Ryan got from ezdirect. Looks a great shape blade and I love D2 steel.G10 handles good too.
