    Question GPS lifespan

Hi all, my Garmin 60CSx gps is now 8-9 years old. All the buttons function and the screen is still good.
My question, what is the expected lifespan of a gps unit?
What sort of life have you hand out of ours?
    Cheers

My yellow Garmin 60 is well over twelve years old and hardwired into my truck; it’s on every day and still going strong

I have the 62 unit and its at least 5 years old, infact is think its more 10 as I'm sure I got it as a staff deal when at the sports store I worked at.

Just give them an update regularly and they should last ages

Newer GPS receivers will have more features, possibly the ability to use satellites from other constellations.

Your old unit may keep working for sometime, like any piece of electronic equipment.
