    Hi
I use one of these solar powered lanterns that weigh 125 grams and provide more than enough light for the evening chores in camp. Only $40

This is a 10/10 product. 82ish grams, a pillow too. Last ages and solar top up. Great value. https://survive-it.co.nz/product/luminaid-packlight-16/

    Either one of these https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3285...21d84c4dDFkzYr

Or take one of these, and a USB power bank

    I’ve used a ledlenser ML6

    Uses an 18650 battery. Robust

A tad heavy if backpacking I guess

I suppose a camping lantern will be the more practical lamp for tents and other small rooms. They are comfortable because of their size, but they illuminate the whole surface well. Also, such lights are very light. My lanterns by Vont fold and fit in any backpack. They run on batteries and hold a charge for up to 12 hours. Lanterns are universal and made of military materials, are not afraid of water. Such lamps will be an excellent choice for hiking, hunting, lighting the garden, or even the house. Often such lanterns are kept at home in case of accidents and sudden power outages. I use these flashlights in my garden and also go with them to the forest.

Thanks @scottrods. Just ordered one of the second link. Chose the 1m version and 3.6W should be heaps for camp lighting. I assume the dry bag is semi transparent. Will do a review once it arrives

I have been using one of these for a few years now. It runs on an 18650 battery (and goes forever) and will easily light up a hut.
It has proved to be indestructible. Can't remember the number of times I have dropped it and it just keeps going.

Good bastards like you were greatly appreciated when I did a lot more hut trips. Next time I'm going to take a candle to leave behind too.
