Platypus or Camelbak are the only ones worth looking at IMHO.

Personally wouldn't touch the cheap ones.

    Why? Leaking concerns?

I've got a couple of camelbak ones, which are good. I wouldn't say they are any better than the others that people I hunt with have. It's just a bag after all.

Cheap ones tend to leak around the hose cap. Some seem to condensate quite a bit too. Nothing worse than finding your gear in your pack is saturated from a leaking bladder.

I have used the same 1.5L platypus bladders with drink bottle lids for 10 years with no issues. Great thing about them is that when empty they roll up to nothing.

Have also been using a Camelbak with hose for a few years as well and really like it.

I tend to find the camelbak and other slightly pricier ones tend to last longer and not leak at all (ride mtb alot with them )
