Kaweka Gear Dyneema products my review

Well I took the plunge and bought a few items from a new cottage manufacturer here in NZ.
Doing a bit of a review on Dyneema stuff sacks bought from Dillon who is the owner/manufacturer.
So far he has shown great customer service and we have been discussing a few more products that will be on the horizon hopefully soon.
I will point out I paid full retail on the products I have so there is no onus on my to give favour just an honest review. More to come.....

This is the 8L in .50oz dyneema it weighs just 9gms which is lighter than the domex silnylon 7L sack it comes with by 7gms its not much but it all adds up and the 8L bag fits my x-tall halo, thermolite bag liner and klymit x pillow and looks like there will be room for my new sleeping mat when it arrives too.

I will ditch the stuff sacks for the thermolite and x pillow too so that will save another 10gms or so.

It all adds up Gibo I'll save what I can where I can, also Dyneema is stronger and waterproof these are all good things.

This is the 2L dyneema dry bag in 1oz dyneema
I managed to fit a compression top, compression tights, thick pair of socks and undies in it, handy if you get wet, it comes in 4,6 and 8L sizes and I'm sure there are many uses for something like this (keeping phones, cameras and other water sensitive gear dry)
This 2L sack came in at 12gms.

I'll be trialing this gear in the field in a couple weeks, I'll update here when I get back.
Also on the horizon is pack liners, ponchos, tarps and possibly eventually tents if there is enough demand. @Gibo you may poke fun but this is a serious review so please don't ruin it, plus we all know legos in the wrong place can be a big problem.
As I have stated previously the advantages of Dyneema are more than just weight saving, its stronger and waterproof.
You can stick with heavy canvas if you like but I'll take the Dyneema
The same design tent I have that weighs in at just under 1.4kg in silnylon is only 800gms in dyneema I don't think that's anything to be laughed at.

I got a couple of the small bags off TM and they are cool. Exciting that they are thinking about making other stuff.

I can lose 17grms by just skipping morning smoko.

If you want to shed weight you need to hit the big ticket items. Like your pack, tent and sleeping bag.

This crowd make light stuff at a good price. Their packs are very good. Start with your tent: https://www.gossamergear.com/products/the-one

    (those bags look good though)
