    Knife refurbishment - volunteers?

I have an old hunting knife which has been in my family a while. It's worthless, apart from sentimental value. It was in a sorry state. I've cleaned it up as much as I can, but the blade has some deep scratches in it and I don't have the equipment (or the skill if I'm honest) to sort it out.

Would any hobbyist who is in to this kind of stuff (and good at it!) be willing to have a go. I would cover reasonable expenses and send you some beer tokens. It would be nice to get it in good shape so that I can hand it on to my son when he is old enough.

Yep you can send it to me if you want.
Show us a picture first of the damage though, just to make sure :-)

I've had a few knifes sorted out by him - very happy with the results and pricing.

Yeah post a pic, we might be able to tell you what to do from a look, or not, as the case may be.
