    Question KUIU Guide Jacket

I hear these are pretty popular, can someone who has one tell about the outside fabric, is is quite/soft shell? i.e.; are they good for bush stalking? Or are they a bit noisey, also are they warm or more of a protective outer layer? I see they say they are water & wind resistant.

    Cheers

They great jackets. Ive got one, plus a pair of attack pants. Just got a Chugach rain coat.
Shit I've turned into a Kuiu slut.
Their gear shits over anything else I've used though.

More or less shower proof as well, apart from the stupid stitching across the chest which isn't seam sealed. I spent about 3 hours at the range in light rain and only got wet on my front in that location.
    Other than that, fantastic jacket.

Great all round jacket. Hard wearing, cuts the wind and water beads off really well but its not made as a waterproof jacket so it isn't seam sealed. You would eventually get wet in it in decent rain.
