Light weight mid layer wind break

Looking for options for warm (3 season) light weight layer, good wind proof or wind chill reduction. Light means sub 500gm, preferably closer to 300-350. What’s your go to ? How does it perform? Similarly what you’ve tried but found it does not work

Shelled alpha direct garments are pretty unreal performance.
Macpac Pisa jacket is a good priced option.

SAR supplied us all with Orange Macpac Pisa jackets last year, have been great although I don't use it hunting as the orange colour could be mistaken.

Thanks, was wondering about that. Really want something that will block the wind or at least take the edge off

Have a look on the Macpac site, there are some good specials at the moment. I just got a light mid-layer hooded “Ion” fleeced jacket. $90 down from $239. It’s comfy as and doesn’t get too hot while working/ walking etc
