Thread: light weight Sako stock build.... is it light enough yet?

    its light enough bud...... too light and they become funky to shoot well....
    3 coats of poly will indeed give it some strength,it will definately take up stain/colour from same very easily.
    I was worried about strength for sling attachments,so bored two holes through butt sideways and glued two small sections of arrow shaft through and then used doubled paracord to attach rear of sling,did single length arrow shaft through forestock for same effect,figgured it will have to break it right out to let go VS strip a thread out.
