    This is a general issue with boots with this construction. It applies for Lowas, Hanwags, Scarpas you name it. The polyurethane used in the midsole can age fairly quick. It applies for all boots, even if they haven‘t been used. Good thing, most boots can be resoled for about 180 NZD. My wify had her‘s resoled just recently for 100 Euros.
