A Whisperlite. Great little stove. Yeah, Coleman fuel, shellite, and any of the other naphtha based fuels are best with this stove. You can use petrol at a pinch but it contains additives that may eventually cause issues, it possibly won't burn as cleanly and the fumes may be unpleasant.

10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.

I use Shellite. Have used canisters and Kero. Shellite works for me and at $9 is very cost effective.

In my MSR multifuel I've trailed using petrol. No real difference between 91 and 96.

It's significantly slower to boil water using petrol as opposed to white spirits, so you end up carrying more fuel and using more for the same heat output.

Might be a Whisperlite International, hard to tell from photo. If the pre heater tube has a thicker curved brass section than the fuel line then it’s a International.

I had an international and ran just about everything that would burn in it at various times including turps which makes a lot of soot and even diesel which required a quick change of the jet which is usually included with the stove
