Thread: Newbie hunter. Which backpack?? Size?? Brand?? Other gear?

Was wondering what brand and size backpack everyone here recommends from experience? 45l? 60l? 70l?

What I have so far is the following:

A scope and rings

That's it basically...

I thought the best place to start would be a backpack, I'm seeing so many different sizes and brands though so would appreciate some sound advice! How's this:

Also is there an "essentials" list on gear u need to just start out? Will be buying some boots soon. Seeing alot of hunters walking around in what seems to be gumboots... Good or bad idea?

Keep in mind I want as cheap as possible pretty much. Spending most of my $$ on a rifle and scope so I don't have much to work with. But still quality obviously.
