I've been using the NZ Topo 50 app North Island for a couple of years with no issues.
I recently went to the South Island and downloaded the South Island version and used that with no issues.
However since returning home I can no longer create tracks or waypoints in my NI version, I can still in the SI version.
I really like to be able to record my tracks.
I have tried deleting some old ones and have looked at all the settings but nothing obvious.
Has anyone else struck this?
Are you using the latest version? It seems to be running fine for me although a few things look a bit different after the newest update.
Also check your app permissions. There is a note about this if you go to settings and then app permissions.
Hope that you manage to get it sorted.
I've been in touch with the developer. It seems that it maybe a glitch with my particular phone.
Fingers crossed it is resolved in the next update
mine is doing the same, can't track or waypoint , used to work fine ??
Mine wouldn't show the overlays and it was a firewall issue or something, works fine now
