Interested in the Gaiters, I've lost count how many sets I've destroyed. But 189 euros? Ouch. I guess if they have the durability then I guess its worth it

    Yes, they're not cheap.

I imagine they'd be very hardwearing. But there's only one way to find out.

I'll have a set coming my way soon, and I'll put them through the wringer on your behalf.

Be careful, he might run away with it. That's how good they are. Definitely worth stealing.

I'd appreciate some input guys. I'm thinking of getting them to modify the gaiters they've got - to make them as well suited to our conditions as possible.

    Here are some close-up pics.

I'm thinking along the lines of a fabric flap to run the length of the zippers, to protect the zipper 'teeth' from getting buggered by scree etc. The flap can be secured via some snap fasteners. Velcro isn't hard wearing enough. Any other suggestions?

The wool-felt fabric itself is bomb-proof. So no worries there.

That little button looks like it'll pop open pretty easily. The part that always broke on other brands was the buckle.

Looks like that little strap that connects the underwrite could get worn thru??

Absolutely solid fabric. But it breathes exceptionally well. Is it magic? Nope. Just wool.
