    Rangefinder choice...Lupy or Leica

So a mate has an unexpected chance to buy himself a rangefinder. He wants to range to 600. Tossing up between Lupy and Leica in similar price brackets.
    Your thoughts please gentlemen.
Oh yeah. He has an intermittant eye issue, so does not want to go for Binos.

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Leica 1600 - nails any reading.

Also get your angle, temp and pressure for your ballistic app real time.

One of the best things I have ever spent money on.

Went head to head against a swaro the other day and kicked its arse.

Compact, waterproof, you get the idea...

Just to offer a token counter-argument here...

If you only want to range to 600, is it really worth spending Leica money or will something cheaper do the job well enough?

Hopeless you lot. I have a good sense of direction and can find my own way to the range.

There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!
